I’ve spent a decent amount of time the last few days thinking about what I wanted to write for an end-of-year post. I wanted to ensure that it was accurate, that it captured the flavor and spirit of the year just ending, and that it was clear and concise. So here goes.
OK, let me expand: 2010 sucked for me. I didn’t have a full-time job for 2/3 of the year. I lost the on-air part of my weekend radio job. And every time it seemed things were looking up, something truly odd happened.
I haven’t been this happy to escape from a year in my life. 2011 has to be better.
Now if you’re one of those people for whom 2010 didn’t suck, congratulations.
And however your 2010 was, I hope your 2011 is an improvement.
Happy New Year.
