…at least you probably don’t work for Turner Broadcasting, who managed tonight to screw up only the single biggest broadcast they have had to do in 2008.
Coverage of tonight’s Boston-Tampa Bay American League Championship Series Game 6 was scheduled to air at 7:30 PM Eastern tonight on TBS. It did, briefly.
However, at 7:55 PM Eastern, abruptly and with no explanation, you would have seen part of Dick Clark’s Bloopers.
At 8:00 PM Eastern, you would have seen The Steve Harvey Show.
Baseball was joined, in progress, at 8:28 PM Eastern.
TBS blamed “a router problem” in Atlanta.
With all the resources (financial and otherwise) available to a unit of Time-Warner… how could they screw up like this?
It was probably cost-cutting due to the weakened economy, of course. That’s getting the blame for everything lately, it can take the blame for this, too… 🙂
Edited to correct the timeline.
