Ch-ch-change…

I’ve hinted at it, and now I can talk about it.

The radio station is changing — from “Oldies 107.3” to “107.3 BBT – The Greatest Hits of the ’60s and ’70s” — at midnight.

It’s really a small change in a lot of ways.  The DJs all stay, most of the music is the same (we’re trading some early ’60s out and replacing them with late ’70s and even a little bit of early ’80s).  There’s a new voice guy doing the imaging (the bits between songs), but we’re scaling back on those and actually allowing songs to segue into each other (gasp)…

From what I’ve seen, if you liked Oldies 107.3, you’ll really like 107.3 BBT.

So as far as I know right now, I’ll see you on the radio as usual next weekend… Saturdays 10-3 and Sundays noon-5* on 107.3 BBT…

*subject to change, could be noon-4 or noon-6 depending on programming needs, I’ll know that by the end of the week…
