You may have heard about the plane crash in Indonesia the other day that killed 20 or so people.
Get this… the air carrier’s reaction to the crash was to rush a team to the scene… so they could paint over the carrier’s logo (on the mostly-intact tail of the fuselage) and the plane’s registration number. That’s right… they actually got in the way of the crash investigation to cover up their logo. You can see a before-and-after here in a photo from Australia’s news.com.au.
Makes you want to fly Garuda Indonesia Airlines the next time you visit southeast Asia, doesn’t it?
Can you imagine if an American carrier did that? Who’d fly the airline after that? Simply amazing.
