Weird Al’s back… sstraight outta Lynwood…

I’ll have to find the quote, but I read somewhere that “if you went back to 1986 and told them that, in 20 years, Michael Jackson would be an afterthought and Weird Al Yankovic would still be relevant, you’d be called crazy”…

Weird Al’s new album is out.  “Straight Outta Lynwood” features the original single “Don’t Download This Song” and the Chamillionaire parody “White & Nerdy” (“Ridin'”).  There’s also a song that makes you wonder what would have happened if Green Day were from Canada, eh… a takeoff of R.Kelly’s “Trapped in the Closet” set in the drive-thru lane… a Taylor Hicks parody that asks “Do I Creep You Out”… a bent sequel to Usher’s “Confessions Part II”… and the traditional polka mashup featuring reworks of the Killers, 50 Cent, Velvet Revolver, Kanye West, and the Chicken Dance…

It’s FUN… check it out… and to make it easy, I’ve put “White & Nerdy” up as my profile song.

Enjoy.
