Quick update

It’s a “SuperStar SuperSets” weekend at Oldies, so when you listen to my show on Sunday (and I know you will), we’ll be playing doubleshots and tripleshots of your favorite ’60’s and ’70’s artists…

It’s been a weird week at the office… just a lot of strange questions… we’re in the annual August lull as a large chunk of the company takes a late summer vacation… we’ll pay for it after Labor Day when they all come back and forget everything they ever knew about the system…

It was the week we had a woman complaining her email account space was maxed out — but 80% of it was the pictures she emailed herself from AOL…

It was the week we had a gentleman take a laptop computer home, hook it up to his home network, and screw it up so badly that it’s probably going to have to be wiped out and reloaded…

And those are the ones I could make sense of… the rest are so bizarre that there is simply no way you could make it work without either being REALLY confusing or giving up company info that I really shouldn’t. 🙂

It ended with me having no less than *five* meetings today because several projects are converging at once… and that with my manager, the manager of the other half of our team, and the lead tech working on several of those five meetings *all* on vacation… which left me saying “I don’t know” a lot because I wasn’t given the answers by all of the vacationers… it made for a very fast day (if a little frustrating)…

See you on the radio… 🙂
