These last few weeks have made me glad I’m not homicidal or suicidal… ’cause if I were, someone would have shuffled off this mortal coil by now.

Of course, there was the CSz fiasco. That got my summer off to a great start. The post-firing swelling of apathy hasn’t helped…

At the radio station, my work is generally taken for granted… or people do things that foul up my job without letting me know…

At Anthem, I can’t get a straight answer as to what they really want me to be doing.

My schedule still hasn’t recovered from losing its stability.

And, quite frankly, I still haven’t recovered from July 7. Almost two months later, I can’t even drive by the place without getting angry. And it’s ironic, really — once I got the CSz website, I begged Christine for an advance schedule so we could promote things. I never got it. She fires me, and whoever’s doing the site now was given a schedule through Thanksgiving. Ironic, too, that the site was finally updated after my friends-only post that it hadn’t been updated in a while. I hope that’s only a coincidence.

After all of this, I think I’ve decided that I have to go back to my original rule — never get involved at work. Just go in, do your job, and go home. Don’t make friends, don’t make suggestions, just do what you’re told. It’s much safer…
