So we closed “Finding LeeLoo” last night — that was the parody of the “Fifth Element” for which I ran sound.

After the show, we had a cast party (tech crew was invited, yay!)… during which our director/producer/Comedy Alley owner Christine gave out framed show posters to one and all.  That wasn’t the coolest part.

The coolest part was when the frames were laid out on stage and Sharpies were handed out… and we were all invited to sign each other’s frames… creating a personalized show souvenir.

For me, it created a rather touching moment as I read over the comments everyone left on mine — it’s tough, being in the back of the room during performances, to know if you’re doing what the performers want.  Well, the comments on my poster frame were so… nice and so friendly and so… so… well, touching.  It’s not only nice to know that they’re aware of my work at sound, but that they liked what I did and were glad to have. me.

I’m really tickled pink.
