Rant and more

The week so far… Monday, they erased my Oldies 107.3 show because they were too dense to listen to it to see if it was for the correct night. Tuesday, I went in to do my show… and there was naught else to do. So both Monday and Tuesday were spent at rundowns for the Comedy Alley musical “Finding LeeLoo”. That was the highlight.

Wednesday, I turned 41. Suckage.

Last night was the dress rehearsal for the musical — everyone pulled it together and we put on a great show. I’m proud of my part, and more proud of the cast…

Today has been hell on wheels at the Tech Support Center — people are just plain dense today. They don’t know their own info, or they don’t know what program they’re in, or they don’t know enough to be near the computer when we work on it. I’m telling ya… if you really want to lose your mind, work in a Tech Center.

Tonight and tomorrow are show nights at the Alley — I’m Mr. Voice for both 7:30s and sound engineer for “LeeLoo” Saturday at 10:00. Sunday I’m supposed to be on Oldies but I might be doing a live appearance at the State Fair of Virginia instead. That means more time Saturday at the station doing Sunday’s work.

Orlando is 9 days away. If it’s still there after Jeanne paintbrushes Florida this weekend, that is. Just found out that younger brother, his wife and kids, and her best friend and HER kid will all be around the family timeshare (so will the parents, but they own it!). I’ll be glad to see them in small doses… 🙂
